As we continue gearing up for our 2023 competition season we're looking for new members to join our ranks. Whether you're brand new to pipe band or are a seasoned player looking for a new circle to call home, we want to hear from you. We have a new slate of pipe music and drum scores as we look to stay in Grade 5 for one more season before stepping into Grade 4.
Led by Pipe Major Kenneth Hiner, who has been a driving force in Memphis piping and drumming for almost 25 years, the band has quickly grown in size and quality. Today Kenny serves alongside Lead Snare Brian Kee, who is quickly climbing the ranks recently getting upgraded to G3. Since joining the band in 2022 Brian has been instrumental in building our drum corps, bringing in none other than renowned World Champion J Reid Maxwell as drumming instructor and mentor to the band. With a heavy focus on not just the quality of playing but also the quality of the circle and its members themselves, our organization continues to flourish.
The Memphis Pipe Band is made up of an extremely talented group of musicians from Tennessee, Arkansas and Mississippi.
