2022 Season Results

We’re excited to announce some of our year-end competition results released today!

This season we had a record number of band members stepping into solos competitions, many of which for the first time ever! First up we’d like to share how well some of our soloists faired in overall points for their grades as well as a few who received upgrades!

Grade 2 Piping Derek Reed – 15th Overall with 5 Above Grade Levels (AGLs)

Grade 3 Piping Sam Wiley – 1st Overall with 7 AGLs

Over 50 Piping Owen McCulloch - 17th Overall

Grade 5 Practice Chanter Charles Leonard – 2nd Overall

Grad 4 Sr Snare Brian Kee – 2nd Overall with 1 AGL

2023 Season Upgrades Derek Reed – From Grade 2 Piping to Grade 1 Sam Wiley – From Grade 3 Piping to Grade 2 Brian Kee – From Grade 4 Sr Snare to Grade 3

While the band itself competed three times this season, only two were in our home association the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association. Even though it was only two contests we managed to earn 15th Overall out of 87 registered bands, also becoming the highest ranked band for our grade in the state of Tennessee!

Work on the 2023 season is already underway and we can’t wait to see how much our members grow in the new year!
